teeth problems

I plan to visit the dentist soon. I need to have numerous dental procedures done, including teeth extractions. Two of my wisdom teeth are what they call impacted and the only way to solve the problem is to remove them through oral surgery. Although I've had this procedure done before, the thought of undergoing it again doesn't diminish my apprehension.

I'm not new to dental visits. I used to wear braces when I was in high school so I was an expert at sitting on dental chairs and having a dentist poke at my open mouth. I even thought of becoming a dentist before. Some of my mama's friends, who are San Diego dentists, even tried to encourage me and told me they'd help me work in San Diego. I woke up to the reality that I could not put my hand in a stranger's mouth, especially if that stranger is badly in need of some dental hygiene.

I am quietly dreading the upcoming dental visit. The procedures might not hurt enough to matter but I know my pockets will be the one hurting after all those procedures.
