cooling off

Posted on April 12, 2007

The summer heat has been very difficult for Mateo. Our baby seems to have inherited Ramil's tendency to perspire easily. His skin would often feel sticky despite having 2 electric fans turned way up for his sole use. He's been having difficulty trying to fall asleep because of the discomfort he's been experiencing. We've had to resort to rocking him until he falls asleep. Not a sleeping habit I would like him to get used to.

The hot weather still has its advantages though. Bath time has been less of a hassle for quite some time now. Our little guy has been enjoying taking a bath and is learning to splash around whenever he is put in a basin half-full with water. He never cries anymore whenever I give him a bath. Only a few minutes after taking a bath though would have him perspiring again. I can't wait for him to be big enough for us to take him swimming. I couldn't resist taking some pictures:

Yup, Mateo really enjoys bathtime now. Pretty soon, he’ll be a big boy already and I really plan on enjoying him while he’s still a baby.
Have a good weekend too! ;)

Ang cute naman ni Mateo sa batya. He is very well fed :). They grow so fast. I’m trying to remember how it was 5 years ago.

KK: Well fed is an understatement. Hehe!

Analyse: Wow, we better try the timba once Mateo gets more control of his upper body. I bet
he’s gonna have loads of fun :D
