slimming down

I still have a few pounds to go before I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Around 3-5 pounds to be exact. Considering that it's only been a little over three months since I gave birth, I think I'm doing okay in terms of having my old form back.
I've noticed however, that those 3-5 pounds seem to have all accumulated in my tummy area. I guess this is to be expected since pregnancy fats are also mostly gained in this area. Although I've said to myself that I will do something about this, I can never seem to find the time or the willpower for it. The though of doing crunches or sit-ups in this weather is not very encouraging. So I postpone the idea and tell myself I will work on it when the weather becomes cooler on June. Unfortunately, I have a wedding to go to this May and I plan to look every inch like a sexy mama not some girl who just gave birth.
Though I've always been on the thin side, I guess every girl has this tendency to be a little obsessed with her figure at times. Others would look at some quick solutions, like San Jose liposuction. I truly admire those who have enough willpower and dedication to work-out like crazy to get the body they really want. Looking at my old clothes may give me some energy boost to take this seriously. I know I can do this. Some have shed more pounds than what I need to lose. Some have trimmed more flabs than what I need to shave off. I just need to have more physical activity and to eat more healthy foods.
Okay, I'll say this to myself now. I will lose those extra 3-5 pounds before the wedding which is on May 18. I just have to keep that picture of myself in a pretty halter dress on my mind. I guess I better go start now.

i know what you mean, the tummy area is so hard to trim! I’ve been trying to do Pilates but I’m still struggling to be consistent with it. With the sleepless nights and exhaustion of balancing work and taking care of a baby, it becomes so tempting to just quit working out and just sleep. I also have a wedding to attend in December… and it’s my wedding! So i really have to stick it out and keep moving. Goodluck to us!
