medically organized

Posted on November 14, 2007

We have never been to a doctor more often than in the past year. After monthly prenatal checkups last year, we then proceeded to monthly well-baby check-ups. Even from the patient’s side, there are a lot of medical records to keep track of. I could only imagine the amount of medical records physicians need to organize. Our friend, who will be setting up her own pediatric practice soon, hopes to get a software for electronic medical health records management, including ePrescribing. She’s still in the process of choosing which software to buy but she’s considering getting one by VirMedice. Being organized is very important if you’re a doctor. There’s no excuse for not remembering your patient’s history, especially with the medicines prescribed to him or her. I’m hoping my friend gets organized soon so she can start accepting patients in her clinic. We just might be one of them :)
