yaya woes

Mateo’s new yaya arrived last Friday. Her skills in housework are superb but how she handles Mateo is a bit lacking. She’s not bubbly like Cat, Mateo’s old yaya. I’d rarely have her talk to me what more to Mateo? She’s not really a warm person and she has this tendency to be a push-over to Mateo. A co-worker told me that sometimes it’s difficult to find a yaya who’s both great at home and with the baby. I’m still very willing to wait it out and observe them. I hope she and Mateo get along with each other pretty soon!

Hi Andrea! I agree with your officemate’s observation. Yung current yaya ko di marunong sa housework. Sobrang palpak. As in andaming nasisira sa house. Pero she gets along well with our B.boy. Dapat papalitan namin. We interviewed one prospect. She seems to be good at housework pero i doubt if she will enjoy playing and running around with our son. So in the end di na lang namin pinalitan yung exisiting yaya.
Nag-iimprove naman yung housework nya and siguro in time matututo rin sha. What’s impt is maganda rapport nila ni B.boy.
I hope you got a good yaya rin. Observe mo na lang din and talk to her kung meron sha dapat improve.

I know how you feel. Yung nephew ko who’s the same age as Mateo, naku nakalima atang Nannies before my SIL found his nice Nanny Tina. Yung last Nanny pa nga eh naging iyakin at payat ang pamangkin ko but now Thank God he’s gaining weight and a happy baby again. Siguro totoo nga na nafi-feel ng baby if magaang ang loob ng yaya nya sa pag-alaga sa kanya. I will pray for Mateo at yung Nanny nya. I know how stressful it is, kahit kami nga nastress for my SIL and my brother eh.
Hi Nice! Haha! Grabe, pareho un old yaya namin sa yaya ni Andre. Tipong pagdating sa bahay dami ko talaga pwede ireklamo. Pero un nga, super friends sila ni Mateo kaya tumagal din sya sa amin ng almost 6 months.
Yup, we’re observing the new yaya. She’s making an effort naman so hopeful pa kami. Haha!
Hi Litzie! Naku, kakaawa naman un nephew mo. Un din ang talagang ayoko mangyari. Buti okay na sya. I leave the house lang naman from 1-4 in the afternoon kaya ako pa din main alaga kay Mateo pero kahit 3 hours lang iiwan sa yaya, sobra mapili pa din talaga ako. Thanks for praying for Mateo and the new nanny. Give my kisses to Dustin!
