The picture above is taken when we went to Subic during the Valentine’s weekend. My dad just got home and he treated us to a quick overnight in a beach resort there. It was a great break for us despite squeezing it in our very hectic schedule. We weren’t able to do any work that weekend but our bodies welcomed the rest and relaxation. Even Mateo had fun in the pool. It would have be nice to have a vacation place somewhere or maybe Outer Banks rentals. I would love to bring Mateo to the beach more often than twice a year. Especially since he’s still afraid of the waves and refuses to take a dip in the beach. Summer is here already so I can’t wait to hit the beach again. My dad promised another treat for us this summer since he also loves going to the beach. How I hope Mateo swims in the sea next time.

almost over
School is just a few weeks away from ending. In fact, the students have taken their final exams this week and then there will be two weeks worth of practice for the graduation. The teachers are more busy than ever with all the rush checking of test papers, completion of grades, deliberations, and preparations for the graduation. I haven’t stopped and thought about how it’s going to be starting April 1. I hope to do some raket that would let me earn a small amount. I still have to check out degree programs in the United States and Canada for a cousin who has a desire to study there. As for my own career, it’s taking a backseat for now.
money, money, money
Mateo loves watching the movie Mamma Mia over and over again. He has even memorized the songs in it and one of the songs he likes singing is Money, Money, Money. I myself feel like singing the same song for the past weeks. Ramil and I are on a tight deadline to make some last minute savings especially since I’ll be jobless starting April. The lyrics of the song are so apt for our situation right now. If only we have enough money to buy things that we want or even buy gold and silver from Monex. They sell silver, gold, or other precious metals and coins. They even make immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository. Now, who wouldn’t want to have enough money to be able to do that? Oh, all the things I could do if I had a little money…
