summer grad

Posted on June 9, 2009

This took a long time for me to post. There’s just always too many things to do and too little time to do them. Anyway, Mateo had his summer class culminating activity last May 22. Basically, the parents were allowed to enjoy the class with their children and there was a gingerbread house making activity for the parent and the child. Mateo and I got busy munching on the gingerbread, icing, and other toppings while busy ‘making’ our own house. Our house collapsed immediately after a few minutes. Even gazebo kits would have made better houses than the house we made. There was a short PTC afterwards where the teachers gave their assessment of the child’s development. So Mateo’s really going to school already. Can’t help but feel a bit sentimental about it :)
